How Spider-Man could’ve looked SO MUCH WORSE

I thought the design of the first Amazing Spider-Man suit was creepy and felt more threatening, since Peter at the time needed to look more dangerous and less approachable for what he was doing. The only complaint I'd ever make about the first suit is that it looks like it would feel like a basketball.

The amazing spider man 1 suit is my FAVORITE super hero suit of all time. Ever since I first seen it. The blue fingertips, the gold glasses, it was perfect

I really am not a fan of the tasm suit. Please don't rip me into peices and burn those peices because this is just an opinion okay. As someone who loves bright colors I just thought it was too dark and off kilter, I also didn't like the material used and much prefer a fabric look. And yes I know that spiderman is a teen but I really do adore tobeys buff spiderman or the classic build. In conclusion, it just feels weird and a bit silly like its trying to be too gritty.

Spiderman 2099 now has a cape but ditches it

No idea if this is controversial, but bright red and bright blue are in general a very ugly combination, specially when you just have one flat spandex suit to mix them. Some spiderman suits like the classic make it work by tampering with the ratio of both colors, it can be made better, ben reily's suit is personally my favorite, but it can certainly be so much worse, like that first concept art for TASM you showed.

A lot of ugly designs would work a lot better using other combinations, like superior spiderman's red and black

The only thing we disagree on is that you loved the thumbnail suit but hated everything else.

The thumbnail suit could've been a pretty good home made suit like Tobey's sweater and belaklava, to then segway into a better suit to signify Peter's growth.

Y’all who tf disliked the TASM 1 suit that shit is banger. It’s streamlined yet over-designed, it’s chic and freak, it’s everything Andrew’s punk-skater Spider-Man is. It isn’t golden boy Spider-Man and never wants to be. This costume is dirty, it’s grungy, it’s like if an MCR album was a Spider-Man suit that could only adhere to the classic Red N’ Blue colors. In fact, the costume that makes me more annoyed is the TASM2 suit because that’s the lamest most under-designed and schlocky costume Marvel could possibly design.

HELL TO THE YES I LOVED THIS MOVIE. ahem i loved this suit and darker version cuz it goes with the story line and where he lives and what environment he grew up in and i love the yellow tinted eyes so awesome
